Repairing Teeth, Restoring Smiles
You probably don't think much about your teeth until something happens to one of them. Maybe you've chipped a front tooth, have an old filling that's starting to give you trouble, or there's a gap in your smile you've been meaning to take care of.
Whatever the reason, Dr. David Painter can help you figure out what to do about it. Depending on what's going on with your teeth, a crown or bridge might be a good option. Both can help with the way your teeth look, and they're made to blend in with your natural smile.
Restoring Damaged Teeth
Sometimes a tooth needs a little extra help, especially if it's cracked, worn down, or has been repaired several times already. That's where a dental crown comes in. A crown fits right over the tooth you already have, covering the damaged area and helping you chew comfortably again. It can also improve the appearance of a tooth that's become discolored or doesn't quite match the rest of your smile.
If you've got a tooth with a large filling that's starting to fail, or one that's too damaged for another filling, a crown may be worth considering.
And because crowns are made to match your surrounding teeth, most people won't even notice you've had dental work done.

What About Missing Teeth?
If you've lost a tooth, you know how much that little space can bother you. You might find yourself smiling with your mouth closed in photos or chewing on one side without even realizing you're doing it.
If you're missing a tooth, a bridge can fill that gap using the neighboring teeth for support. Unlike dentures, a bridge stays in your mouth, so you won't need to take it out at night.
Bridges can help you chew more comfortably, improve your smile's appearance, and keep neighboring teeth from shifting into the space.
